After being made redundant from a job in manufacturing and being unemployed for eight months, Adrian Howard decided to look at employment opportunities in the automotive sector and signed up for free Level 2 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Awareness course.
Adrian said: “I found it really interesting and, as part of the course, I had an interview with an employer and subsequently accepted a position at a green technology company.
“I don’t think I would have been able to start my future without the support of training team at the college’s Electric Vehicle and Green Technologies Centre who gave me all the support I needed.
“Not only did they help me find a new job, but my confidence and self-worth returned helping me settle in to my new position and eased a lot of the pressures at home.”
