City of Wolverhampton College open day - Saturday 29 January, 2022

COLLEGE OPEN DAY BACK DUE TO DEMAND!

12 Jan 2022

An open day at City of Wolverhampton College that was postponed because of the continuing coronavirus pandemic has been re-arranged for Saturday, 29 January due to the number of people enquiring about courses.

The college’s campuses at Paget Road in Compton and Wellington Road in Bilston will be open from 10am to 2pm for people to get information on part-time courses starting in the coming weeks, full-time courses starting in September and apprenticeships with employers in the area.

Visitors will be able to chat to tutors about the best qualifications for their chosen career, have a tour of campus facilities, take part in activities related to the subject they are interested in studying and get details of financial support to help with college costs.

Those attending the open day can apply for their chosen course at the event, have an interview with a member of the college’s admissions team and, subject to entry criteria, leave with an offer of a place to start their qualification later in the year.

The event will comply with the latest government guidance around Covid- 19 including the the requirement for all visitors and staff to wear a face covering unless they are exempt, the availability of hand sanitising stations and ventilated rooms.

In further safety measures, visitors are encouraged to take a lateral flow test before attending, to limit the number of people on site, only two guests will be admitted per student, and anyone displaying Covid symptoms is asked not to attend but apply for their course online instead.
