GET ADVICE ON COURSES AND CAREERS AT COLLEGE OPEN DAY

16th January 2020

Part-time courses getting underway later this month, full-time qualifications starting in September, university-level higher education programmes, and a scheme enabling people to earn while they learn, are the focus of an open day at City of Wolverhampton College next weekend.

The college’s three main campuses – Paget Road in Compton, Wellington Road in Bilston and Metro One in the city centre – will be open on Saturday, January 25, 10am-2pm, for people to sign up for over 300 courses.

Tutors will be on-hand with information on how to gain the skills employers are looking for, university-level higher education qualifications including HNCs, HNDs and foundation degrees, and an apprenticeship scheme which enables people to combine working for an employer with studying for a relevant qualification at college.

Visitors will also get the chance to try out equipment used on different courses, get careers advice, find out about financial support available to help with course fees and other costs, have an interview with a member of the college’s admissions team and, subject to entry criteria, leave with an offer of a place to start their qualification.

Check which campus to visit for individual subjects or book a place at the event here or Tel: 01902 836000
