Antonio Keise is studying Level 3 Automotive at City of Wolverhampton College, after progressing from Levels 1 and 2. With a long‑standing interest in cars, he joined the course to gain hands‑on skills and real workshop experience.
“I’ve always loved cars, but before starting the course I didn’t really know how to work on them. Since joining, I’ve learned so much, from engine oil changes and servicing to brake replacement and diagnostic testing. The more I’ve learned, the more confident I’ve become, and that’s helped me progress onto Level 3.
“My plan is to complete Level 3 and then get a job in the automotive industry. Studying in these new facilities has been great, you can see they’re state‑of‑the‑art. We’ve got advanced diagnostic tools, wheel‑alignment equipment and a range of vehicles to train on. You really can’t get better than this for learning the trade.
“To anyone thinking about joining the college, I’d say definitely do it. You won’t regret it. The tutors are great, the equipment is top level, and you’ll always learn something new. It’s a place that can genuinely set you up for a career.”
