Chawan Ali Omer is currently studying ESOL at the college to strengthen her English skills for everyday life in the UK. Learning English has helped her build confidence in speaking, reading and writing, while also supporting her in managing day‑to‑day tasks more independently. It is also an important step toward her long‑term goal of studying IT in the future. Chawan said:
“I am studying ESOL because I live in the UK, and I need English in my daily life all the time. I really enjoy learning it, and it helps me a lot with speaking, reading, writing, and managing my everyday tasks. It will also be very useful for my future.”
“I like learning English myself, but my teachers are very supportive and helpful. They work hard with me and always explain the lessons in a clear and friendly way. This makes learning easier and more enjoyable. It is very important for me to complete everything well because in the future I want to study IT, which is my favourite course.”
“For anyone who is thinking about studying ESOL, it is truly very helpful. Even if you think you already know some English, when you come to college you will learn much more, quickly and easily.”
