Javante Depeiza is studying Level 2 Business at City of Wolverhampton College. Since leaving school, he has developed his knowledge, focus and confidence, gaining a strong foundation in how businesses work. 

“On the course I’ve been learning important business topics like revenue, profit, expenditure and the key things you need to understand when running or working in a business. I’ve also learned techniques such as the BCG matrix and other methods that have helped me with my other subjects too. 

“I think I’ve developed a lot since joining the college. I’m more focused, I engage more in lessons, and my teacher is really supportive. If I’m struggling, I can always ask questions and get the help I need, which makes a big difference. 

“The new facilities at the City Learning Quarter are great. We are using brand new equipment and the campus is a lot more modern and well improved. 

“To anyone thinking about coming to the college or studying business, I’d say focus on your education, look forward to new experiences, and make the most of the support available. You can have a really good time here while setting yourself up for the future.”
