Simon Davies completed the Into Employment Retail course at City of Wolverhampton College in September 2025. Just weeks later, he secured a role with Poundland in Wolverhampton, starting in early October. Since then, Simon has progressed to full-time hours, now working 40 hours a week, and was proudly awarded the Colleague of the Month badge in November — a testament to his dedication and positive impact in the workplace. 

Simon said: “The course helped me find the confidence I didn’t know I had, now I’m thriving in a full-time role I love. 

“I couldn’t praise the course enough, it gave me the skills I’d kept hidden for years. Now I’m proud to be recognised at work.”
