Throughout the course, you’ll develop a strong understanding of electrical installation principles and the regulations that electricians must follow to work safely and effectively. You’ll explore the science behind electrical systems while gaining hands-on experience that reflects real industry practices across domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.

Designed to prepare you for employment as an electrician’s mate or progression to further training and apprenticeships, the course combines technical knowledge with practical learning to help you develop the skills employers value.

Strong links with Employers
As part of your studies, you’ll benefit from our strong links with employers across the construction industry. These partnerships help keep our training relevant and up to date, giving you valuable insight into the sector through employer-led activities, guest speakers, work placement opportunities, and access to industry-standard materials and equipment. This helps you develop the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence needed for progression into further training, apprenticeships, or employment.
