Is this course right for me?

This qualification will develop the knowledge and awareness of the types of provision in the Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s sectors. It includes the roles played by workers, from principles and values through to health and safety and working with others.

The course will help you to develop a range of skills to enable you to progress onto the next level whilst also developing essential transferable skills required in any work place and to equip you with every day essential skills.

To enhance your learning, throughout the course you will have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers who visit the college to talk to students about their experiences in the profession.

  • No formal qualifications required but diagnostics will be undertaken to determine current level you are working at
  • Successful completion of a informal interview with a course tutor
