James Lawton recently joined City of Wolverhampton College as a Study Hub Assistant and has found his experience overwhelmingly positive. He said:
“When I heard about the vacancy, I was excited by the chance to work in a social environment, support the local community, and develop valuable career skills. I also love books, so working in a space surrounded by them was very appealing.
“Since starting, the staff have been welcoming, and my co-workers have helped me settle into the role. Helping students and having a positive impact has been incredibly fulfilling, and the team is friendly and supportive.
“What I enjoy most is the social environment, interacting with friendly people throughout the day, and the variety of tasks that keep the job fresh and engaging.
