After working in engineering education for around 11 years, I have been able to inspire and challenge thousands of young people to strive and then achieve their goals. I think it’s important to see every young person in education as a potential leader of the future. I look forward to supporting you to achieve your goals while you’re at our college.
I have been sharing my computing knowledge with students at the college for the last 14 years. I have a passion for technology and discovering new digital toys to play with. In my spare time I enjoy going to music concerts, seeing the latest film releases and I passionately follow Formula 1 each season.
I have taught all levels of computing courses, from entry-level to HNC for both full-time and part-time students. I am also a personal tutor, helping and supporting students with pastoral care, wellbeing, development, progression and UCAS applications. I enjoy mentoring each student and seeing them develop and progress from Level 1 to mature adults ready to grab every opportunity and make a positive contribution in their chosen career.
I have over 20 years’ experience in teaching and have been teaching our Level 4 and 5 courses for the last four years. My specialist areas are programming and games design and other software application development at advance level.
I have worked in the computing department at the college for the last 16 years and have a passion for computing and evolving new technology. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with young people, helping them to achieve their goals.
I have been teaching computer science at the college for the past 25 years and have delivered many lessons and subjects. Over the years, I have used many development tools to assist and develop students’ use of e-learning and digital technology and my strongest subject is programming and databases. In my spare time, I create my own jewellery, make cards for birthdays and celebrations and create memory books and photo albums for friends.
