You will study the relationship between hardware and software, managing and communicating information and data, the principles of designing and developing digital technologies and processes to support organisations, as well as data modelling and analytics, mobile internet technologies, creative technologies and enterprise for IT.

Entry Requirements:

To access this course you are required to have:

  • Minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including maths, English and one technical subject such as science, IT, graphics, design & technology, etc OR
  • Level 2 ICT-related qualification at Merit or Distinction

  • Effective writing skills for websites, programming and reports
  • Understanding and analysing data models presented in a variety of ways, including databases and spreadsheets
  • Creative development – eg graphic design, games programming, website design

  • Presentation skills using different software
  • Effective team work
  • Preparation for assessment methods used in degrees.
