The Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice is aimed at people who have Health and Safety responsibility in the workplace. This professional qualification can be gained without significant time away from the workplace.
This course runs 9.00am – 5.00pm over 4 days plus one full day in company assessment.

Entry Requirements:
The minimum entry requirement is a good understanding of spoken and written English. Ideally learners should possess a NEBOSH Level 3 or above qualification but not essential.
Additionally, prospective students will be required to undertake a short telephone interview with the course tutor to check their current job role is suitable for the course and completion of the portfolio.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is in the form of continual informal assessment throughout the four days and a formal assessment on completion of the four days in the workplace. Learners will be expected to build a portfolio of evidence throughout the duration of the course.
What can I do next?
After successful completion of this course, you could progress to be a chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH) – you can then call yourself a professional safety and health practitioner.
