This course is suitable for any employee from any sector requiring basic manual handling awareness. For example: warehouse and factory staff, office workers, machine operatives, delivery drivers and construction workers.

There are no formal entry requirements just a good understanding of spoken and written English.

Principles of Legislation, lifting techniques, employer and employee responsibilities.

An increase in awareness and skills in manual operations. The course is ideal for delivery as part of an employee induction programme.

There is an optional assessment test or alternatively a College Certificate of Attendance will be issued

There are various other Health and Safety course to explore both short half-day and longer courses such as IOSH, Nebosh and NVQ's.
