English GCSE

English is the international language of aviation, business, commerce, communication, computing,  science, medicine, and tourism along with many industries, so whatever career you want to go into in the future, a good standard of English writing, reading and speaking skills is essential.

GCSE English is widely recognised by many employers as a qualification they look for when recruiting staff, in fact they often ask for a specific grade in their job descriptions and so a good grade could be the difference between you getting the job instead of someone else.

By studying GCSE English you will not only gain an understanding and appreciation of a range of writing styles across a range of genres including fictional and non-fictional text, as well as in essays, reviews, news articles and online copy.

You will develop reading and critical thinking skills and learn how to write in a confident, clear and coherent manner suitable for a variety of topics and audiences.
