The UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production is taught by highly experienced tutors, who will teach you in industry standard recording studios, Mac suites and at the superb Slade Rooms live venue in the city centre.
You will begin your first year of study on the UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production and then once successfully completed you will progress to your second year, which is equivalent to three A Levels.
You will develop skills in sequencing using software packages to compose, edit and mix music and soundtracks, learn about the music industry, research and explore areas of the industry such as record labels, recording studios and the jobs associated with these. You will learn how to set up and operate equipment in the college's industry-standard recording studios for the capture and processing of sound and at the Slade Rooms live music venue.
